Mixed Media Watercolour

The Blood Painting series consists of three watercolour paintings of orchids incorporating  fetal calf blood and a sodium compound used to mummify the fetal calf Algernon, as well as watercolour pigment mixed with fetal bovine serum (FBS).

Blood Painting #1 was included in the group show Other Msconceptions, curated by Jo Diball and exhibited at Level ARI in Brisbane, 2010.
